Supporting access to Justice of rural women in south Punjab (SAJRWSP) (2013)
In two districts of south Punjab, Multan, and Bahawalpur this project was led by EHD with the only object to provide free services of legal aid to women from a lower court to high court cases. For this radio program, seminars, awareness sessions with rural communities, and consultation with bar councils were initiated. By this project, more than 1600 women were facilitated in two big districts.
Ensuring Entitled Rights of Bonded labor in Multan (2012-2014)
The project “Ensuring Entitled Rights of Bonded Labour in Multan phase” address the workers of brick kiln bondage which is the least priority of the government and line agencies so there is a need to highlight the issue on different forums on district and provincial level. the project contributed to bringing change in policies and actions to promote and protect the rights of immensely deprived bonded laborers of the District Multan along with providing free legal aid services to brick kiln workers.
Promoting Rights for Rural Women and Girls(PRFRWG (2009-15)
The proposed project has been designed keeping in view the overall situation of women and girls. The project creates enabling environment for women belonging to low-income groups to equip girls with education and increase earnings for livelihood. The project aims to mainstream community members’ particularly female members to take part in healthy activities and enhance knowledge on rights accordingly. The proposed project is also perceived to engage public representatives and institutions to extend support to realize economic development and social empowerment of vulnerable sections of the society. Increasing girls’ education through improving educational services and motivational campaigns for the community members, empowering women of villages through vocational skill and awareness on child and women rights in District Muzaffargarh.
Access to Justice for Vulnerable Populations in Pakistan, A2J Project (2014-16)
The objective of this program is to free legal aid to marginalize groups especially minorities and women and to develop and implement a multi-pronged public awareness campaign that increases citizens’ knowledge of the laws, which protect their fundamental rights.
Peace Proctors Project in Multan (2016-18)
The only objective of the project is to promote a peaceful culture in students of the university and to develop them as peace proctors in their respective societies. This project is implemented in Bahaudin Zakarya University In Multan.
