Our work
EHD (Encourage the Human Development) is a not-for-profit, non-political and non-religious organization dedicated to promoting women rights especially girl’s child by engaging the rural youth of South Punjab, democratic and effective labor movement for the overall advancement of a socially just and equitable society where the fundamental and legal rights of people are respected and guaranteed.
The main course of action at EHD includes the following:
- Support the rural women by legal aid and access to economic resources by engaging in vocational and rights-based training.
- Addressing the humanitarian response in a sustainable way.
- Initiate the movements against bounded labor.
- Initiate and strengthen mobilization and organizations of workers (male/female) and communities around issues of labor rights.
- Provide legal aid to deprived communities especially to workers and women.
- Youth integration for the positive initiatives in society
- Facilitate youth networks to address their issues on the community level
