EHD seeks to:
- promote the gender based equality especially for women by the core principles of Feminism which are share power, acceptance to diversity, feminism is for every one, and security for women.
- Incorporate political space for the women & disadvantaged by promoting democratic practices and values.
- Develop an institutional infrastructure to infuse and promote sustainable participatory approach and shared vision at grassroots level.
- Easy and quick justice must be in access especially for women and rural community.
- Assurance of child rights focused on girl child without any discrimination especially in rural areas.
- Increase sensitivity and harmony among people; actions against structural violence in our society through peaceful means and movements.
- Accountability is a fundamental requirement of good governance. To mobilize the community and aware them for assurance of transparency and accountability is basic right of every citizen
